With the birth of the new TOYOOKA CITY on the 1st of April in 2005, composed of Toyooka city, Kinosaki town, Takeno town, Hidaka town, Izushi town and Tanto town, the four International Associations(Toyooka, Hidaka, Izushi, Tanto) merged on the 22nd of April in 2006, and started as a new TOYOOKA INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION=(Tia) with the following goals:

-To deepen mutual understanding and friendship with people from foreign countries.

-To promote international exchange and cooperation in an educational, cultural and economical environment.

-To contribute to opening the community to the world and to the development of Toyooka City with a focus on internationalization.

We hold the following events for our members;

International Cooking Class, Afternoon Tea Party, Welcome party, Farewell Party,
Christmas Party and etc.
